Since the end of the Second World War, only three French magistrates have been murdered. Judge Renaud on July 3, 1975 in Lyon, Judge Michel on October 21, 1981 in Marseille, and Judge Borrel on October 18, 1995 in Djibouti. It is undoubtedly the latter crime that remains the most mysterious. Thirty years later, the motive remains uncertain and no one has been indicted. Are we heading towards a dismissal of the case?
