With banners and flags snapping in the wind and patriotic songs in unison, the youth of the RHDP demonstrated their support for the vision of unity and stability championed by the party’s candidate, Alassane Ouattara, this Saturday, October 18 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan. A crowd of supporters converged on “Félicia,” transforming the sports arena into a genuine hub of enthusiasm and popular fervor. Just days before the presidential election, this show of support powerfully illustrates the popular momentum and the confidence placed in President Ouattara.

“My dear children, thank you for your presence and your mobilization. I am truly happy to be with you this morning, because you are the energy of Ivory Coast. You are the future of our nation, you are the Ivory Coast moving forward. We have accomplished a lot in fifteen years, and we will achieve even more in the next five years.”

Addressing an enthusiastic crowd, Alassane Ouattara delivered a unifying speech. He praised Ivorian youth as “the foundation for development and lasting peace,” and detailed his commitments: 608 public secondary/high schools, 822,445 student scholarships, and over 1,441,676 formal jobs created. The president recalled the achievements of his terms: economic growth, infrastructure, political stability, while calling for vigilance and national cohesion.

“We are very proud of him. We, the youth of Ivory Coast, support him and want him to get a fourth term.”

“We came today to support our president, Mr. Alassane Ouattara, for a fourth term, because we, the youth, are the future of Ivory Coast. This country belongs to us and we must be at the heart of decisions. It’s not just about campaigning, but about voting and actively participating in building our nation.”

The incumbent president, recognized for his experience and structural reforms, inspired confidence in a generation aspiring for progress.
