Led by its key players, Nigeria beats Tunisia (3-2) and joins Egypt in the round of 16.

With two assists and a goal, Ademola Lookman was rightly named man of the match. Victor Osimhen, with a goal and an assist, and Wilfried Ndidi, scorer of the second goal, also lived up to their status against a Tunisia side that was outclassed for 70 minutes.

It took two defensive errors from Nwabali and Osayi for the Carthage Eagles to reduce the deficit from set pieces.

In the other match, Tanzania and Uganda shared the points. Notably, the Cranes missed a penalty in the 90^th+1 minute through Okello.

The 2004 African champions will finish their group stage against Tanzania, while Nigeria is expected to rotate its squad against Uganda.
