RwandAir to resume flights to India

Rwanda’s national airline has temporarily canceled its flights to Mumbai in July and to Entebbe in May. Flights were suspended to India and Uganda due to the surge in coronavirus cases in both countries.

The airline has now announced its plans to resume flights to Uganda and India. RwandAir’s CEO announced at a press briefing that flights to Entebbe, Uganda, are expected to resume within a week, with flights to Mumbai to follow by the end of September. He informed local media that the airline is working on the formalities to begin the flights.

RwandAir had six weekly flights to Entebbe and four flights to Mumbai, via Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania.
