AEK Larnaca pulled off a very nice result, winning 1-0 at Crystal Palace, with Jérémie Gnali starting at right-back. It’s the Cypriot side’s second win, putting them second in the standings.

Lausanne also secured a win away at Malta’s Hamrun Spartans (1-0). Morgan Poaty, on the left, and Kévin Mouanga, centrally, were both in the starting lineup. The former made a penetrating run, poorly finished in the 34^th minute.

But it was ultimately the central defender who proved decisive in the 38^th minute: he drove through the opposition with the ball at his feet, beat four players, and laid it off to the left for Diakité, the match’s sole goalscorer.

Like AEK, Lausanne now has 6 points.

Raddy Ovouka, starting on the left side of defense, and Drita were held to a draw by Omonia Nicosia (1-1). The Kosovan side is 22^nd with two points.

Strasbourg dropped two points against Poland’s Jagiellonia (1-1), without Rabby Nzingoula, who was not called up.

The match between Rijeka and Sparta Prague will be played this Friday. The game was interrupted after 14 minutes on Thursday evening due to torrential rain.
