Subject: My Resignation from the CPDM – In Defense of Truth, Conscience, and Honor
Dear Section President,
I am resigning from the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) with immediate effect.
The results of the presidential election on October 12, 2025, in Njinikom raise serious questions about the electoral process. The declaration that 2,241 people voted for Paul Biya in Njinikom is inconsistent with on-the-ground observations. Approximately 130 citizens turned up at the Njinikom Community Hall, where ELECAM had consolidated all polling stations for the municipality.
This situation has prompted questions among the sons and daughters of Njinikom, people who value honesty, dignity, and self-respect.
To preserve my conscience, my image, and my honor, I have decided to no longer be part of this organization. I cannot and will not be counted among those who might compromise integrity for statistical considerations.
Therefore, I withdraw my membership from the CPDM with immediate effect. I prefer to stand for the truth rather than endorse questionable practices.
Should you require any further clarification, I remain available – but I will not participate in activities that could harm democracy.
In truth and dignity,
Maurice Tiibam Kube
Former Member, CPDM – Boyo I, Njinikom.
